This item was said to have been liberated by a U.S. Army soldier at a camp. Original mounting ring was broken when it was pulled Down from above one of the camp officers doors. Eagles chest shows rubbing from GI field
gear. The hanger on the back of the board was added. This style eagle was used on the earliest SS Caps and Hats. The face of this SS camp Parteiadler is very unusual.
