45th Eagle

This eagle came out of a 45th veterans estate. He travelled from North Africa to Dachau and was sourced up on this journey. It has no makers marks and is a high quality example. Size: 8 5/8″ x 8 3/4″ Weight: 2LBS 12.5OZS

Availability: Rare Size: 20cm High, 22cm Wide The originals of these early style eagle are made of a heavy material resembling Aluminium (Although far heavier than standard Aluminium). There are bronze case copies (as shown below) that are of inferior quality.

Artist: Kurt Schmid-Ehmen Availability: Unique Size: Height 53.5 cm, width 102 cm. Material: Dark brown-green patinated bronze On the left wing is the artist ‘s signature “Schmid-Ehmen München”. There are 4 mounting fixtures on the back for wall mounting.

Availability: Rare Size: 20cm Wide, 10.5 cm high On the back are two threaded nuts to be used with bolts. There is an aluminum and bronze versions of this eagle as shown in the  photos below. Note: There are different mounting locations between the bronze and aluminum versions
