This desk eagle with stand comes in several different styles. There are no known period photographs. It has been speculated that these were used in recruiting offices on the desk or that they were associated with NSDAP newspaper operations – as weights on top of the papers. Some of these are the most heavily reproduced eagles to be found. They come in several different materials.
