Pabst Style 1 – Political
Maker/Foundry: Bildgießerei Kraas Berlin –Kraas Bildguss
This style is an example of a ‘Spread Wing Pabst Eagle’. It’s head faces left and has fully outstretched wings the usual intricate chest pattern and the extremely detailed wreath surrounding the swastika.
This style can be found in three sizes, small, medium and large.
The below style is an original spread-wing Johann Pabst ‘Political Eagle’ example in high quality cast bronze (medium size), complete with its original blackened finish and polished marble base.
In these photos, the high quality design and casting of the ‘Pabst’ eagle is clearly evident. Note the fine detail to the wreath and eagles claws and the ‘J.Pabst’ signature clearly visible at the base of the wreath.
Pabst Style 2 – Political
This second style is another example of a ‘Spread Wing Pabst Eagle’. It’s head faces left and has fully outstretched wings the usual intricate chest pattern and the extremely detailed wreath surrounding the swastika but in this example, the wings are a flatter style.
This style can also be found in three sizes, small, medium and large.
A couple of second style examples are found below. They are original spread-wing Johann Pabst ‘Political Eagle’ examples in high quality cast bronze (medium size), again complete with its original blackened/ bronze green patina finish and polished marble base or bronze piller.
