Description:
This is an example of a ‘J.Pabst Luftwaffe Eagle’. It’s head faces right and has fully outstretched wings with the left talon clutching the mobile or ‘running’ swastika. Note the usual intricate chest pattern and the detailed head, beak and feathers. This style can be found in three sizes, small, medium and large. They are most often found on darkened bronze stands mounted to black marble plinths.
