24 Inch Railway Eagle

Availability: Common

The 24″ (600mm) eagle is the most common Reichsbahn eagle in collections today. It adorned the many trains of the Third Reich and many were taken by allied veterans during and after the war as souvenirs. In the collector community this is the only size eagle that can be found with the bolts unthreaded.

The 600mm (24″) eagles were designed for use on train engines, although this was not strictly adhered to.
