This eagle is styled on the Deutsche Reichsbahn eagle although it has a number of differences:
- It is constructed of hollow pressed brass.
- It has no bolts for mounting, one example has a brass wire soldered for hanging.
- It is not believed this was attached to trains and was more likely used in an office/administration building setting on a desk or wall.
- It was produced in low numbers.
- The eagles head is a slightly different style to a normal Reichsbahn train eagle.
- The size is 600mm (24″)
One of the two known examples was found in a small fishing village just outside of St Tropez in the South of France. It was owned by an old French couple.
