Aluminum Style

These large impressive wall plaques are often made of CNC machined aluminum with engraved eagles and text that was often originally highlighted in luminous green paint. These wall plaques were thick and often mounted on buildings to identify their purpose.

An example below is for the Deutsches Polizei Burgermeister Ortspolizeibehorde. It has black background paint and a brownish wreath. It Measures approx. 12 5/8 x 16 inches and it is heavy with four mounting holes, one in each corner. It has a recessed eagle and lettering as well as border trim.

The below example is a “Zollamt” Sign. This is a building sign depicting the official emblem of the Customs Office of Nazi Germany located in Berlin. It is heavy cast iron sign with dimensions of 15″ x 12.5″
