Maker: GJ or JG

Availability: Rare

27″/28″: The maker is unknown. Of the three examples below, one is size is 680mm (27″) and the other two are 720mm (28″)

These letter markings were found in three variations:

    1. indented and combined, found on the left hand side of the swastika (reverse of eagle). Positioned above this mark is also the GAL-MG material designation.
    2. indented and combined, found on the right hand side of the swastika (reverse of eagle). Positioned above this mark is also the GAL-MG material designation.
    3. indented and combined on the left wing alongside the Gal-Mg-Si (Pd) designation.
5 Bolts Type 1

The bolt configuration for both sizes is 5 Bolts Type 1.

Note: Interestingly, the “PF” maker has exactly the same markings (as 1.) but obviously a different makers mark. Both these makers are unknown.

 

 

 

 

24″: The one example below is a 600mm (24″)

These letter markings are indented and combined, found on the left hand side of the swastika (reverse of eagle). Positioned above this mark is also the GAL-MG material designation.

3 Bolts type 1

The bolt configuration for both sizes is 3 Bolts Type 1.
